Biography

Dr. Maja Nikolić Đurić is a specialist in dermatovenereology with years of experience in treating skin diseases in both adults and children.

She completed her primary and secondary education in Vranje as the valedictorian of her class.

She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Belgrade.

Dr. Maja completed her specialist studies at the Military Medical Academy, unsurprisingly, with the highest honors.

With 26 years of professional experience, Dr. Maja has successfully conducted almost 80,000 therapies.

She treats conditions such as Acne, Rosacea, Seborrheic dermatitis, Eczema, Alopecia, hair and nail diseases, sexually transmitted diseases, and other dermatological conditions.

A special area of Dr. Maja's work is dermoscopic examination of moles and skin changes for the early detection of skin tumors and melanoma. She has attended and completed training with the leading domestic and international experts in this field, such as Prof. Giuseppe Argenziano.

Dr. Maja is a member of several professional associations:

• Medical Chamber since its founding  

• Serbian Medical Society  

• EADV (European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology)  

• Association of Dermatovenereologists of Serbia  

She regularly participates in conferences and educational events both domestically and internationally.

Dr. Maja shares the vision of the Dermatology Online platform that everyone deserves access to a dermatologist and the best solution for their skin problems. By her example, she shows that she is not afraid of challenges and, by working with her son, breaks stereotypes, demonstrating that dermatologists can be accessible to everyone.
